Failure to install BAM tools with BTS09?

I ran into this problem today where BizTalk 2009 Configuration reported “Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services with SP2 or 2008 is not installed or an incompatible version is installed”. I went through the hassle of finding the SQL 2008 setup kit and try and install Analysis services only to find out that it was already installed. Google (or should I say Live Search :-)) didn’t get me any resolution… Then I found out that SQL Server Analysis Services service wasn’t running…. Problem fixed.
